Mammoth as its name suggests is one very, very big mountain! With 150 trails spread over 3,500 skiable acres it's one of North America's biggest and most popular mountains. The views are awe-inspiring and the terrain is some of the best that the US has to offer. Mammoth Lakes town is buzzing with life so there's plenty to do after a hard day on the mountain and it's only a ten minute drive away. Mammoth really is the next big thing!
Situated in the High Sierra's of California, Mammoth is the latest addition to the Ski America program, and being one of the largest and most impressive ski areas in North America, you'll find an almost endless supply of fantastically well-groomed slopes and a huge lift system to explore. Together with over 300 sunny days a year and more than 30 feet of snow over the 6 month season, Mammoth is a snow sports paradise and a truly incredible skiing experience that both skiers and boarders of all abilities can enjoy.
With a great selection of wide-open beginner runs and some more challenging intermediate and advanced trails, no matter what your level at the beginning of your trip, you will always have somewhere to progress to. Mammoth certainly didn't forget about snow boarders either, the legendary terrain parks are some of the best you will find anywhere.
The friendly village at the mountain's base is accessed by the free resort shuttle making it an enviable location for groups to stay.
